Dentavision 2025 – Shaping the Future of Dentistry in Jammu & Kashmir

 

Srinagar, 25th August 2025: The Indian Dental Association (IDA) Kashmir Central Branch successfully hosted Dentavision 2025 at Hotel Sarovar Premiere, City Mall, M.A. Road, Srinagar. This landmark summit brought together leading dental professionals, academicians, policymakers, innovators, and young practitioners from across the country under the theme “Innovate, Integrate, Inspire – The Future of Dentistry in J&K.”

 

The proceedings began with a Welcome Address by Prof. (Dr.) H. U. Malik, Patron, who highlighted the importance of collaboration, innovation, and youth empowerment in shaping the future of dentistry in the region.

 

A special keynote address was delivered by Mr. Pirzada Farooq Ahmed Shah, IAS, Hon’ble MLA Gulmarg & Former Secretary, Tourism and Education, who shared valuable perspectives on healthcare, tourism, and education as drivers of professional growth in Jammu & Kashmir.

 

The summit featured a series of thought-provoking panel discussions with distinguished experts:

· “Bridging the Gap: Financial Support & Self-Employment Opportunities for Unemployed Dental Surgeons in J&K”

Mr. Ejaz Ayoub, Research Scholar (Economics, NIT); Certified Professional in Economics of Money & Banking, Columbia University

 

· “Ethical Practice in Dentistry: Safeguarding Patient Trust in J&K”

Dr. Sanjeet Singh Risam, Head, Department of Dentistry, Government Medical College Anantnag

 

The sessions were skillfully moderated by Sardar Nasir Ali Khan, renowned media personality, and Saba Reshi, anchor, photographer, and digital banker, ensuring engaging and structured discussions.

 

A notable highlight was the launch of IDA Kashmir Central Branch’s Quarterly Newsletter, “The Oral Health Conversation,” designed to promote knowledge-sharing, keep members updated on new developments, and strengthen professional networking across the region.

 

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Adil Malik, Organizing Secretary, who extended heartfelt gratitude to all delegates, panelists, and participants for their valuable contributions in making Dentavision 2025 a grand success.

 

Dentavision-2025 not only provided a platform for meaningful dialogue but also laid the foundation for new opportunities, strategies, and innovations in advancing the future of dentistry in Jammu & Kashmir.
