A scathing critique of the government’s disconnect with the people, especially in Kashmir’s backward areas, has been voiced by prominent social worker khan Haseena. In a press release, Khan lambasted elected representatives for prioritizing personal benefits over public welfare, leaving the poor to suffer without basic necessities.
"The government everyday highlights their development but on ground when we see is zero,” Khan stated, emphasizing the stark contrast between claims and reality. She questioned the loyalty of the people of Kashmir, who continue to elect representatives who fail to address their problems, instead indulging in luxurious lifestyles.
Khan’s statement highlights the growing frustration among Kashmiris, who feel neglected and ignored by those in power. Her criticism underscores the need for accountability and genuine efforts to address the region’s pressing issues.
