Health Dept organises Mega Medical Camp at JKAP-8TH battalion Miran Sahib

A medical for the official check-up for all officers/officials was organized at JKAP-8TH battalion Headquarters at Miran Sahib in collaboration with BMO R.S.PURA. The aim of said initiative was to assess the medical conditions of the unit police personal at regular intervals. In the said camp commandant JKAP-8TH Battalion personally underwent medical checkup along with other Gazetted Officers. He emphasized the importance of such health camps, stating that personnel in uniformed servicers often find difficult to undergo regular medical check-ups due to their duties. Said camp was also organized with the aim to find out one stop solution for monitoring the health of Officers/Officials .208 number of police personnel underwent and attended the said medical camp. A medical team comprising of 02 Doctors namely Dr. Povinder Singh and Dr. Ashok Kumar Chowdary from Govt. Hospital R.S.Pura, deputed by BMO R.S.Pura examined the officers/ jawans and advised them for the betterment and maintenance of their health. Apart for this Dy.SP Sh.Om Prakash Chib Adjutant JKAP–8TH Battalion, Dy.SP Sh. Bhupinder Singh Quarter Master JKAP-8TH Battalion and Dy.SP Sh. Tilak Raj JKAP-8TH Battalion also participated in the said medical check-up. Such health supporting event was a part of Police welfare measures to ensure, wellbeing of manpower and to make them health conscious.
