*India’s Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan Provides Insight into Operation Sindoor*

 

 

Srinagar, May 31,Reporter news desk:- In a significant development, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan has broken his silence on the recent Operation Sindoor, a conflict between India and Pakistan. Speaking to Bloomberg, General Chauhan provided a detailed account of the operation, shedding light on the Indian military’s assessment of the conflict.

 

According to General Chauhan, the Indian military suffered losses during Operation Sindoor, but the exact number of losses has not been disclosed. However, he was quick to dismiss Pakistan’s claims of shooting down six Indian fighter jets, calling it "absolutely incorrect.”

 

General Chauhan emphasized that the Indian military quickly rectified its mistakes and launched counter-attacks against Pakistan. He highlighted the Indian armed forces’ resilience and strategic acumen, demonstrating their ability to adapt and respond to challenging situations.

 

The CDS also addressed concerns about the conflict’s potential escalation, stating categorically that the situation never came close to a nuclear war.
