Srinagar, May 27: Major General Anupinder Singh Bevli, Additional Director General (ADG) of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, has lauded the role of NCC cadets during Operation Sindoor.
Addressing the media in Baramulla, Maj Gen Bevli said that upon receiving directions from the authorities, NCC cadets across Jammu and Kashmir sprang into action, providing crucial support to those affected by Pakistan’s shelling.
The cadets played a vital role in providing logistical support, evacuating civilians, serving food, and donating blood for the injured. "Our cadets were available on all fronts, demonstrating their commitment and dedication to serving the nation,” Maj Gen Bevli said.
He encouraged young people to join the NCC in larger numbers, highlighting the organization’s significant contributions to serving the nation and communities in times of crisis. Maj Gen Bevli praised the cadets for their outstanding role during Operation Sindoor, showcasing the NCC’s value in building responsible and community-focused citizens.
