Eid-ul-Fitr celebrated with religious fervor, enthusiasm in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, MARCH 31: Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated with religious fervor, enthusiasm and in a peaceful environment in district Kishtwar, here today.
Thousands of devotees thronged local mosques and performed Namaz-e-Eid and prayed for peace, development and prosperity of the district Kishtwar as well as the UT.
Elaborate arrangements were made by the district and police administration for smooth celebrations of Eid festival at Chowgan Ground.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Rajesh Kumar Shavan, SSP Kishtwar Javed Iqbal remained present besides monitoring and supervising the security and other arrangements.
ADC Pawan Kotwal, ASP Pawan Kumar and others officers from Police and Civil administration exchanged Eid greetings with Muslim brethren and prayed for peace, tranquility, integrity, communal harmony and brotherhood in the district as well as in the UT.
