It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of the mother of esteemed journalist Rashid Rahil, Editor of Asian Mail. Her untimely demise in a road accident has left a void in the lives of her family, friends, and the community. Following the accident, she was rushed to Soura Medical Institute, where, despite efforts to save her, she sadly breathed her last.
