Akashvani Srinagar has marked a significant milestone in its broadcasting journey by inaugurating a state-of-the-art audio studio dedicated exclusively to the special transmission of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY) 2025. The new facility is equipped with the latest audio technologies to ensure seamless and high-quality broadcast services to Yatris and listeners across the globe during the Yatra period.

The studio was formally inaugurated by Shri Gurbinder Singh, Deputy Director General (Engineering) and Head of Office, Akashvani Srinagar. In his address, Shri Singh described the newly launched studio as a "technological leap” in pilgrimage broadcasting. He emphasized that the broadcasts would be made accessible not only on the ground but globally, leveraging multiple platforms.

The broadcasts for SANJY 2025 will be available across several platforms, including 103.7 MHz FM, WAVES OTT Platform, DTH Services, NewsonAir Android & iOS App, and Akashvani Aradhana Channel. To ensure uninterrupted coverage along the trekking routes to the Holy Cave, even in remote and high-altitude areas, two special transmitters have been installed at Baltal and Pahalgam.

The special transmission will include a diverse range of content such as devotional music, daily reports from all base camps and Yatra routes, special interviews, features, segments, and informative capsules. This comprehensive coverage aims to keep the pilgrims and devotees informed and spiritually connected throughout the Yatra.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by key officials from Akashvani Srinagar, including Shri Pramod Kumar, Deputy Director Engineering; Shri Akhilesh Sharma, Assistant Director Engineering; Shri Ghulam Rasool Akhoon, Head of Programmes; Dr. Satish Vimal, Programme Executive & Incharge Special Transmission SANJY 2025; and Shri Wasim Farooq, Transmission Executive, along with other staff members.
