*”A Voice for the Voiceless: Minister Sakeena Itoo Holds Mega Public Darbar in Nadimarg, Kulgam”*

Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare, and Education, Sakeena Itoo, held a massive Public Darbar in Nadimarg area of Kulgam, providing a platform for local residents to voice their concerns and issues. The event was attended by a large gathering of locals, who appreciated the Minister’s efforts to address their grievances and work towards the development of the region.

 

During the Public Darbar, Minister Sakeena Itoo interacted with local residents, listening to their pressing issues and reaffirming the Government’s commitment to equitable development and inclusive governance. The locals raised various issues, including poor road connectivity, irregular electricity supply, scarcity of drinking water, and the need for better healthcare and education facilities.

 

Minister Sakeena Itoo emphasized the importance of responsive administration and assured that all genuine grievances would be taken up with the concerned departments for time-bound resolution. "Our aim is to ensure that no voice from the remotest corners goes unheard,” she said. "Nadimarg and all its adjacent areas deserve the same attention and developmental thrust as any urban center.”

 

The Minister highlighted that the present Government is committed to addressing developmental needs and other issues of the public. She emphasized that the Government has strengthened its public grievance redressal mechanism, establishing a dedicated office, Raabta, at the Chief Minister’s residence to address genuine issues and problems of the public.

 

The Government is focusing on better infrastructure, employment avenues for local youth, and improved implementation of government welfare schemes. The Minister assured the locals that their genuine issues would be redressed promptly and called upon officers to conduct periodic reviews and field visits to monitor public welfare services effectively.

 

The Public Darbar was a significant step towards bridging the gap between the Government and the people, providing a platform for the locals to voice their concerns and work towards the development of the region. The Minister’s interaction with the public delegations demonstrated the Government’s commitment to responsive governance and public welfare.
