Srinagar, June 11, NSR: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah expressed his delight and satisfaction after traveling on the Vande Bharat train from Katra to Srinagar, following his visit to the revered Vaishno Devi shrine.

Abdullah termed the Vande Bharat train a "great blessing” for the region, stating that it would significantly boost tourism and business in Jammu and Kashmir. "I had a wonderful journey. Tourists are coming. This train is a great blessing. It will increase our tourism and business,” he said.

The former CM emphasized the importance of connectivity, saying, "Now our people can go to any part of India. It’s a big dream that I have seen being fulfilled in my life.” He expressed gratitude to those who made this dream a reality, saying, "We must remember the God who has given us everything and also those who gave us this train.”

Abdullah’s comments reflect the growing optimism about the potential of the Vande Bharat train to transform Jammu and Kashmir’s economy and tourism sector.
