*TERROR FUNDING CRACKDOWN: BANDIPORA POLICE ATTACH PROPERTY WORTH ₹7 CRORES*

Bandipora, March 28: In a major blow to terror funding and anti-national activities, Bandipora Police have attached immovable property valued at ₹6.93 crores and a residential house worth ₹50 lakhs.

The properties belong to Farooq Ahmad Shah, alias Rehmani, a Pakistan-based handler and resident of Onagam, Bandipora. Shah has been involved in facilitating and promoting militant activities in the region.

The action was taken in connection with Case FIR No. 33/2022 registered under Sections 121 IPC, 18, 20, 39 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, and 2/3 of the E&IMCO Act.

The attachment of Shah’s properties serves as a warning to those who engage in or support anti-national activities. Bandipora Police remain committed to curbing terrorism and maintaining law and order in the region.
