MINISTER SAKEENA ITOO REVIEWS JKBOSE PERFORMANCE

Srinagar, April 2: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo, chaired a meeting to review the performance and functioning of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE).

The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Education and Chairman JKBOSE, Shantamanu, Director School Education Jammu/Kashmir, Special Secretary School Education department, Secretary JKBOSE, and other concerned officers.

Minister Itoo evaluated key operational aspects of JKBOSE, including examination processes, curriculum implementation, and IT interventions. She stressed the importance of strengthening the board’s infrastructure and streamlining administrative mechanisms to ensure smooth academic operations.

Itoo urged the JKBOSE to incorporate advanced technological solutions to improve accessibility and efficiency. She also underlined the necessity of timely syllabus updates and other related activities.

The review meeting is part of the government’s efforts to improve the education sector in Jammu and Kashmir. By identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes, the government aims to provide better educational opportunities for students in the region.
